Hi I'm Kate!
Kate? Yes, Kate. Though my name is Katharina everyone's calling me by my nickname Kate so why shouldn't you, too, right? I'm 20 years young, I was born and raised in Germany and I still live here - in this beautiful city called Cologne that I can proudly call my hometown since Summer 2014.
Fun fact - I used to hate this city until my friends showed me how beautiful it actually is.
How else would I describe myself? You know I always think it's hard to write self-descriptions, because each one of you will probably describe me differently - but that's good. We're all individuals with our own eyes, our own mind and our own opinion.
If I had three words to describe myself, I'd choose these: calm, creative and caring.
What a coincidence they all start with the letter C! I promise, I didn't do this on purpose.
Now, I believe that it's easier to get to know a person when you learn something about them. About what they love, what they think, what they believe in and what they dream of. Maybe we have more in common than you think! So here are a few facts about myself.
- There is nothing that I love more than telling stories. No matter what kind of way you choose to tell a story, the result always moves me through it's artistic vibe.
- I love good food - but seriously, who doesn't?
- Traveling to different places in the world is my guilty pleasure. Love love love it!
- Music is food for my soul, it just makes me feel alive
- Books always lead me into a dreamworld where I also exist, but just as an observer and I enjoy every second of it.
- I believe that everyone is beautiful in their own way and that's phenomenal.
- Beauty isn't something superficial - it comes from the heart.
- When you work hard enough, nothing's impossible. I mean, look at the internet, planes, computers, cars and all those other great inventions humanity has created - just because some people didn't give up on it.
- Many people think I'm naive and light-headed, but I think many of them just lost the view for the great things in life and need to gain it back.
- I dream of moving to London one day, it conquered my heart all those years ago when I was a child.
- Paul Arden's book taught me to go for the big things and to invest everything in it and they'll eventually become reality, so I try!
