When Inspiration knocks on your door...

I bet you all know that moment when you suddenly have a great idea and everything is just perfect in your head - and you can't wait to start to visualize it somehow.

I tend to have these moments quite often but only twice has it hit me THAT hard. I haven't slept the entire last night and waited for the morning to arrive, because I wanted to get out of my flat and run into every store I can find to collect more inspiration and to buy things I'll need for it. I also spent the whole night on DaWanda and Etsy to find stuff I can use as well and I found something.

It was ordered immediately.

This is one of those ideas that I really want to see finished and done. I'll probably do whatever it takes to make it happen, because I always had a small wish in my head to do something like this and now I just try to make it reality. Cross your fingers! You'll be the first ones to see the outcome!

And here's a little sneak peek for you, tadaa!

This is kind of a DIY-Project, since I'll do a lot of it on my own. And right now, I even expanded my idea and I really hope it's working out.

Summer evening portraits // Leah

Today I'm finally publishing one of my favourite shoots. I don't really know what took me so long to be honest ... but here it is!

Earlier this year the lovely girl on the pictures and I had the crazy idea to move to Cologne together. That was in March. And in June we moved in together and are now sharing a flat. Very spontaneous decision and vision but we made it work and we still live here. Can't believe we've been here for almost 6 months now. Cologne is our home now and I think I speak for both of us when I say that we won't leave this city any time soon.

One day in July we decided to go outside and take some pictures. I was stunned by the amazing sunset that was waiting for us on that evening.

Elopement! // Peter + Gundi

Wow it's been a while...

So I was shopping today and bought myself a few new clothes and new shoes (YAY for that!) when I came across some dresses that I thought were pretty. I didn't buy a dress, but they reminded me of the posts that still have to be published on here!

Now, Peter wrote me a message in late July that he and his fiancée are getting eloped in August and asked me to capture their sweet little elopement. I immediately said yes and met up with them - trust me they're the cutest! They were so nice and understanding - and they asked me to keep everything a secret. And so I did.

We drove to Emmerich, a really small town at the border to the Netherlands and I never thought it's so beautiful up there. I was really surprised and so were Peter and Gundi.

We absolutely had a great time together and I wish them all the best for their future - especially with their yet unborn twins!

Oh and look at their absolutely cute dog! She was basically their maid of honour!
